These terms apply to all taxi bookings made with Everest Call Taxi, Vellore, by phone, WhatsApp or through everestcalltaxi.com.
Bookings
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you by call or WhatsApp with the vehicle and driver details.
- Please share accurate pickup and drop locations, date, time and number of passengers.
- Fares shown on the website, including the quick estimate, are approximate. The final fare is confirmed at the time of booking.
Fares and charges
- Fare = kilometres travelled × per-km rate for the vehicle and trip type, plus driver bata.
- Minimum billing: one way drop taxi — minimum 130 km; round trip — minimum 250 km per day.
- Toll, parking, airport parking, state permit, hill charges, night halt, driver food and luggage carrier charges are extra and charged at actuals.
- Waiting charges: one way drop — ₹150 per hour after the free waiting time; round trip — ₹100 per hour after 12 hours.
- For multi-day trips, driver bata is charged per day.
- Payment is made at the end of the trip by cash or UPI unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellation
- To cancel a booking, please inform us at least one day (24 hours) before the scheduled pickup time by calling 0416 226 6999 or messaging us on WhatsApp at 98944 33697.
- If a booking is cancelled at least one day before pickup, any advance paid will be refunded.
- If a booking is cancelled less than one day before pickup, or the passenger does not show up, no refund will be made of any advance paid.
Passenger responsibilities
- Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and belongings.
- Smoking, alcohol and illegal items are not permitted in the vehicle.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be charged.
Delays
We plan pickups to reach you on time. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside our control. For flights and trains, please allow enough buffer time.
